Every Friday afternoon in the programs we ran we would bring in a guest speaker this one individual was a probation officer that survived a bullet to the head. He became a very successful entrepreneur and a probation officer which he did to help kids. His lecture is absolutely revolutionary and it walks you through the financials of running a drug spot or having a 9-to-5 job at McDonald’s his main premise is crime don’t pay you but it sure pays a lot of people in corrections.

Tom DUFFY

After seventeen years working with young adults and adolescents in detention and at risk I established the Street Lights Program, helping individuals achieve their true potential. I have trained over 25 teachers, 1500 at-risk individuals and through the founding of the Prison SMART Foundation. That grassroots program expanded across the United States and taught 20,000 inmates and at-risk youth, with anger management, stress relief.  In 2007 my wife Terry of 10 years, passed away due to cancer. That took some time to heal but now I am wanting to restart Terry's passion and mine. So in memory of her, I dedicate the rebirth of Street Lights.  My work has taken me not only across the United States but around the world.
